Contracts were signed back in 2007 in Dublin for the construction of Gibraltar's first authentic Irish bar.

O'Reilly's is located on Leisure Island, part of Greg Butcher's Ocean Village marina complex. The bar has been developed by twins Andy & John Hunter who also operate the Lord Nelson, Star Bar, Gibraltar Arms as well as the Britannia Bar in the Cruise Terminal.

Andy commented "We are very proud of O’Reilly’s which we have named in honour of great Irish family friends of ours. We have simply the very best hospitality team in place to make sure you enjoy a warm Irish welcome. Our latest exciting venture will bring our standards of quality, value and service to Gibraltar's premier marina front location. "
